The Mackey House

autumn at the Mackey House

Rust, red and deep blue under the pines, and a house made for it.

The Mackey House gives you a lot to work with. A white porch with hanging ferns, brick paths, tall pines and gardens that catch the late sun.

This couple brought color that fights for attention in the best way. Blue suits, bridesmaids in rust, red and copper, and a bouquet full of magnolia leaves. Against all that green it almost looks painted.

The Ceremony And After

They married under a white draped arbor in the garden, with the whole party standing beside them. Later the sweetheart table sat right in front of the brick fireplace, dressed in the same flowers. When a couple cares about details like these, I make sure they get photographed before anybody sits down.
